While Japan is known for its neon-lit cities, historic shrines, and delicious food, it is also filled with fantastic ski resorts that draw in many winter sports lovers from around the world. Japan is a great destination for skiing, as it has over 500 ski resorts, abundant snowfall, and diverse terrain.
Our Winter Playground:
Niseko’s powder snow is world-famous in Japan for international visitors, as it has a vibrant village, easy access, and English-speaking services. It also has some of the deepest and driest powder snow in the world, and a stunning view of Mount Yotei. There are so many ways to enjoy it! Skiing & snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, snow tubing, and so much more!
Rusutsu Resort – Powder snow Hokkaido. The largest all-season resort in Hokkaido and is quieter and less crowded. It also has a family-friendly atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor play areas for kids and you can relax the hotel with hot springs.

Japan is a great destination for skiing, as it has over 500 ski resorts, abundant snowfall, and diverse terrain.
Our Winter Playground:
Nagano Shiga Kogen Ski is located around 45km from central Nagano City, Shiga Kogen is one of the Japan’s largest and 2nd highest ski resort, boasting an unmatched expanse of interconnected terrain and Nagano’s longest ski season. Comprising 18 ski areas – some large, some small, the entire resort is covered by an all-mountain pass and best enjoyed on a multi-day visit. It also hosted some of the events of the 1998 Winter Olympics.
Nagano Niigata Tsunan Ski is a large all-seasons resort is situated in the expansive Naeba-Sanroku Geopark, on the Tsunan Highlands. Enjoy the powder snow and ski slopes right in front of the hotel. Apart from a large onsen bathhouse, the hotel includes many other facilities such as bowling alley, a swimming pool, and indoor courts. Feast on a deluxe buffet with some 50 different Japanese, Chinese, and Western dishes using ingredients produced locally and in Niigata, including all-you-can-eat crab dishes, slices of roast beef and sweet shrimp sashimi. This resort has it all, from lodging, skiing and snowboarding to entertainment.
